In the end, at the titles, there was a memorial for one of the fisherman, born in 1977 and died in 2011...
I missed the story, did not see al episodes... What happened?

I believe the fisherman your looking for is Justin Tennison - he was on the Time bandit last season and passed away when they got back from opie season from sleep apena. Sad really, he was so young. Here is an article: Justin Tennison from DC
