DEADLIEST CATCH

Fans of Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch

Today is the 35 th anniversary  of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. 29 souls were lost that day on Lake Superior ,due to a rogue wave. Take the time today to say a prayer for these men who were lost, and for their families.
This is a risk our fishermen run into every time they venture out themselves, so it hits close to home.

just watched the video and listened to song all i can say is.............
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL , HEARTWRENCHING SONG, ALWAYS LOVED IT, SINCE I'M SMALL.
It is very sad, Anne Marie. I think especially this time of year, Thanksgiving and Christmas, when you have lost a loved one. Christmas is one of the most beautiful times I think in the whole year. But it is also sad. The person that was in my life for a short time was my daughter-in-law. She died Sept. 2008. I really miss her the most. She was like my daughter. I still cry about her. This year, I will add to my list, Capt. Phil Harris. My heart goes out to his family, because this will be the first Christmas without him. God Bless them, and may we all love and care about each other, because we are all that we have. Love you, Marsha

Another terrible day...My Mother Teresa Louise Harris died. Phil (My stepdad) and her were divorced Sept. 2006. I don't think she ever got over it. It has been a sad year. I will miss them so very much!

I am so sorry Michelle.  Such sad losses for you when you lose both.  I will keep you in my prayers and I am so sorry.  I so happy that you wrote in, and shared this with all of us.  You will have a great support group here.  It just takes time for the hurt to become less, but the hurt will always be there.  Just remember, you will see them again one day.  Love ya, Marsha

My dear Michelle,  please accept my "heartfelt condolences" on the loss of your mother. This has been a sad year for both of us. I lost my dad last June 21st.  We were together for 50 years Michelle, and yes , it was very hard on me. Losing one loved one, is bad enough, but two, is almost  un-imaginable!  Try to give yourself plenty of time to heal. You will find that in time, things will get better. One thing I can tell you,  if you ever need a "shoulder to lean on", We are all here for you!  And......I have 2 of them!  I know I can speak for all of us here, on this holiday season, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. "YOU ARE NOT ALONE," Michelle, remember that!   Take Care , and may the blessings of the lord be with you, at this most difficult time.    BILL  HAMILTON.

My heartfelt condolences on your loss Michelle.

God Bless the 29 men who lost their lives 35 years ago today.  May we all remember their families, even though most of us probably didn't know them or their families, but we must not ever forget because they were special. God love all of you fishermen out there, because you take a chance everytime you go out.  We love you, Marsha
