I won't burn pictures of anyone.  Did that twice, and two people close to me died.
wow!
Oh, and another one I have is if I'm helping to cook a meal, I won't touch whatever is being made as the main dish, unless it's to serve.  I'll chop things, peel things, and do prep work, but I won't touch anything having to do with the dish.  Not a spoon, not the pan, nothing.  I'm always afraid it won't turn out well

I don´t walk under ladders either!

Also believe that kick on the ass brings luck :D

I'm Greek, so here's an old fishing related superstition: before lowering their nets into the sea, Greek fishermen will spit into the net. Spitting is thought to ward off evil spirits, and this is done to insure plentiful fishing. I remember my dad doing this whenever he took me fishing with him, and he always wound up giving alot of his catch away because it was too much to take home, so there must be something to it!

Having 7 black cats..kind of leaves all those superstitions out... But I if I spill salt I do toss some over my shoulder, and I also carry a lucky penny with small bag of precious stones and crystals.

7 black cats? Wow mary, I guess that would qualify you for not being superstitious with black cats. lol
I'm to the point that if a black cat crosses my path..its good luck!!!
The only one that I can think of is that bad luck/events happen in threes. I can't rest till that third thing has happened.
your right Kerry, they always say in threes. But if you have bad luck all the time, the threes just run together after awhile. lol
ah forgot about that one Kerry!!  Everything does happen in threes...
As it's that time of year..there is an old Southern tradition of eating a dish called Hoppin John, involving black eyed peas. You're supposed to eat that for luck in the coming year, and cooked cabbage for money.
