In an effort for postings on the forum to be more uniform, I am providing the following guidelines. The goal is to eliminate excessive use of Capital letters and Over Punctuation. That being said, please quit yelling... :) It has slowly gotten more and more prevalent on the forum. Please take a few minutes to read this article about Caps and Exclamation Marks: http://www.wix.com/flash/web-design/learning-center/writing-killer-...

When Posting Articles From Other Publications, there is more involved than just acquiring the information. It is good form to also repost the Author's name, article date, and publication found in. Generally, unless it is a very short piece, it is best to only repost the first paragraph or two and then provide a link for the rest. (To read more, go to... and the link) The reader then goes to the publication the information came from.
When done in this manner, it is very plain that the information is just being shared, the author and publication still get the credit, and nobody gets their toes stepped on.
Example:
"What Came First, The Chicken Or The Egg?"
msnbc.comIt is an age-old riddle that has perplexed generations: Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Now British scientists claim to have finally come up with the definitive answer: The chicken.
The scientific and philosophical mystery was purportedly unraveled by researchers at Sheffield and Warwick universities, according to the Daily Mail newspaper. Click to read more
Also if there is a photo provided it adds interest to include the photo too. It adds to things if you write a little introduction for what you're reposting too.
Hopefully these guidelines can help us all provide information more uniformly. It should also be kinder to the eyes when presented in the manner used by the majority of people.
Feel free to contact me if you have any thoughts or questions.
Thanks,
