Marine Traffic?
Hey sorry if this is stupid but I can not find any of the boats on Marinetraffic.com. So i was wondering if anyone could explain it to me. Thanks so much!!

It's not up and running perfectly at the moment. The system in Dutch isn't working. Each F/V has an ADF&G number and you can follow them when they're in port. It's fun!

Not stupid at all. Ive been trying to locate the boats for days myself but all I get in the beering sea is nothing at all. However,last night a cargo-wessel appeared on the screen in near bristol bay,but no fishing-wessels to be seen. Its a fact ( see mary beth) that the ais-system for dutch is down. And they have sent someone to fix it,.......but when its all working again,no-one seems to know. Have a good week. Best greetings from eddie in norway.

Marinetraffic is down in Dutch harbor so you won't see anything there right now. When the boats go out to sea, they are off the radar too. Sometimes they come and go, but usually you can only see them when they offload or come back home. I heard a couple things about the AIS in Dutch - one said the system was down and due to be rebooted soon. The other said that the AIS is on a large vessel that is usually moored in DH, but right now its not. Also tried emailing MT to see what is going on - but alas I've received nothing yet. Will up date when I know more!
