Captains Tour 2012?
I hope so -- the one in Clearwater last June was great!
I'm wondering if they'll be up to it after this exhausting Opie season?

last tweet i read on the time bandit sit from the hill strand brothers that no captains tour has yet been planed for this year may not be one if snow crab season runs in to may due to now slowly receding sea ice

I know people would like to see the Captains. I kind of hope, however, that they GET SOME REST! John, especially, looked terrible by the end of it all. It's a strenuous schedule. Maybe time off would do them well, or maybe just fewer engagements. Poor guys!

I'm kinda worried about John's health. He looked extremely tired in the season 7 ATC episodes. I don't think he takes good care of himself.

I remember Sig saying that during Phil's last Captain's Tour he seemed very tired - that all the travelling really wore Phil out. Sig said that Phil had been 'over-booked'. I've been seriously upset about that ever since. I realize, of course, that Phil was a big boy, but I keep suspecting that his agent was willing to endanger Phil's health for the sake of making more money instead of persuading him take it easier. Yes, I know, Phil reveled in the attention - maybe I just want someone to blame. If we're lucky, maybe Johnathan will remember all that and take more time off - but then, he loves the attention too.
